Quick Call Back
Haringey Bee Control & Bee’s Nest Removal
When bees move onto a property and build a hive they can be difficult to live alongside, treating anyone who disturbs their nest as a threat.
Haringey Bee Control specialises in removing nests intact, without damaging the hive or the inhabitants, and leaving as little detritus as possible. This is not only better for the environment, but our customers also typically prefer this method to a chemical-intensive extermination.
Haringey Wasp Control & Wasp’s Nest Removal
Wasp nests can pop up anywhere inside a property, and when they do confrontation is unavoidable, since they can and will react aggressively to anyone who comes too close.
People often attempt to remove wasp nests with over-the-counter pesticides, but wasps are very resistant to these, and an improper attempt at extermination is guaranteed to cause an aggressive swarm.
We advise that you rely on trained professionals when dealing with wasps, since we not only have access to chemicals and protective material unavailable to the general public, but our technicians are also able to apply them directly to the nest, no matter where it is on a property.
Haringey Hornet Control
Hornets are less aggressive than wasps, but their sting is more painful and much more likely to induce allergic reactions – even anaphylactic shock. Hornets require special care and should always be avoided, as even accidentally killing a hornet can release a scent that clings to clothes and fabrics for days, and will set off a swarm if detected.
Our technicians will always deal as swiftly as possible with hornets, using a dose of high-grade Bendiocarb, a chemical we use for wasps, but in even higher concentrations for rapid results.
Haringey Cluster Fly Control
Cluster flies prefer living in human homes for their warmth, and will spend their winters inside. They will mark their hibernation spot with a pheromone to attract other flies, and more flies will come unless they are dealt with quickly.
Haringey Cluster Fly Control uses a conventional knock-down fogger spray to deal with the flies themselves, while also working to make sure no flies return to the hibernation point.
Haringey Bed Bug Control & Removal
Given their name, many people believe that targeting beds and mattresses is enough to counter bed bugs, but in fact bed bugs usually only come up onto beds at night time to feed, and so conventional methods often simply don’t work.
Many bed bugs live between floorboards or around furniture, meaning a very comprehensive programme must be taken to get rid of them and all the eggs that they have planted. Our technicians will work together with you, walking you through all the necessary laundering and cleaning procedures you can do to make their job easier.
They will then execute our special multi-part treatment: alongside traditional pesticides, we use insect growth regulators that stop the remaining bed bugs from reaching maturity, and we lay down a natural substance called Diatomaceous earth that dehydrates and kills any bed bugs that come into contact with it.
Haringey Flea Control
Fleas travel from host to host, and are capable of jumping from one person to another from far away. Not only this, but a flea can lay numerous eggs that are difficult to find and get rid of, meaning even a brief flea problem can flare up again later.
Fleas can only be completely removed with the co-operation of customers and technicians, and we work in co-operation with you to make sure our treatment has lasting effects.
Once you’ve done your part, our technicians use a combination of flea-killing agents and prevention measures, including Diatomaceous earth, to remove all traces of the infestation.
Haringey Silverfish Control
If you see holes or other signs of wear and tear in clothes, books or wallpaper, you may unwittingly be playing host to a silverfish infestation. The insect thrives on damp conditions and survives on objects we would not even consider foods.
Haringey Silverfish Control will not only eliminate the silverfish themselves, but our technicians will also identify the environmental factors that have led to their presence and what can be done to stop them.
Haringey Cockroach Control
Cockroaches carry dysentery, typhoid fever and salmonella, and if their unpleasant appearance isn’t enough to necessitate an extermination, their potential for infection certainly is. Their droppings and eggs will enter pretty much every substance they touch, and cockroaches are drawn towards human food.
If allowed to breed, they will never move on, but rather they will only become bolder and more deeply entrenched inside a house.
Our technicians are fully aware of the risks of an infestation and that customers prefer extermination to be as rapid as possible, and with respect to this we always take the most aggressive route when dealing with cockroaches, using our most intense chemicals right at the sources of infestation.
Haringey Spider Control
Even if they rarely pose any threat, many people find it unpleasant to live with a large number of spiders inside the home. Rising populations of poisonous spiders in the UK and a rise in hospitalisations, especially in the south-west, have prompted widespread concerns about spiders and spider infestation, and we aim to set people straight on the nature of their problem.
Our task at Haringey Spider Control is not only eliminating the spiders themselves, but it is also ensuring peace of mind for our customer, whether by giving them reassurance with our consultation service or sending a technician to properly identify the species at hand.
Haringey Ant Control
Many species of ant in England will dig their colonies right into the structure of a house itself and will seem to come out of nowhere to swarm over kitchens and leftovers.
For many people with ant infestations, it is impossible to determine the location of the hive, making professional help all the more necessary. Even when untrained individuals are able to track down a nest, they often underestimate the population within, dealing an insufficient chemical dosage that only causes the hive to split up into further nests across the house.
Our technicians always track down each individual nest and destroy it thoroughly, giving them no chance to escape and re-establish themselves.
