Hornets are less aggressive in their behaviour than wasps, but their sting is considerable more painful and far more likely to induce allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock. Likewise, hornets produce a strong pheromone when they are killed, which can cling to clothes and fabrics, meaning that even swatting an individual hornet can end up producing a scent that will set off the hive.

Because of this, our technicians work to ensure that they deal swiftly with the swarm right at its source, taking out the hornets in one go with a dose of Bendiocarb even higher than that used for wasps, ensuring that there will be no surviving hornets able to swarm in defence of the hive.

Cluster flies will very frequently gather inside human homes, preferring to hibernate in them over the winter months, and whereas other insects build nests, they will mark their hibernation spot with a scent to attract other flies, meaning that more flies will come to nest there if the place is improperly treated.
